Shipping to Sweden costs anywhere from around $15 for lightweight economy parcels to over $200 for heavy or express shipments, depending heavily on weight, speed (economy vs. express), carrier (USPS, DHL, UPS, FedEx ), and service level, with economy taking weeks and express taking days. For small items, expect around $15-$30, while larger or faster shipments can easily cost $50-$100+, plus potential VAT / customs.

DHL is the best shipping company, hands down. UPS is the worst, don't even think about it. I had bad experiences with FedEX as well (as someone else pointed out they don't have enough pick up points and if they don't find you at home you're screwed). Schenker is also crap.

The cheapest way to send a parcel to Sweden is via Parcelforce* and it is cheaper still if you drop it off. ... DPD has two service levels to Sweden, plus you can also book a collection or a drop-off and take your parcel to the local DPD Pickup Shop.
