When sending items to Germany, prohibited goods include weapons, drugs, counterfeit items, endangered species products (ivory, certain reptile skins), live animals/plants, human remains, and most meat/dairy products (especially via military post), while restricted items needing permits or duties are alcohol, tobacco, medications, vitamins, and items with high VAT/customs, so always check carrier rules (like DHL, UPS, FedEx ) and German Customs (Zoll) for specific regulations.
