Car/Vehicle Shipping Cost from Ankara to Casablanca

Driving is usually cheaper for shorter distances, but for long cross-country moves, the cost difference shrinks, and shipping often becomes more cost-effective when factoring in gas, food, lodging, wear-and-tear, and time, making it worth paying a carrier to avoid the hassle and expense of a long solo trip, though driving saves on carrier fees but adds travel time and costs.

If you bring your own car into Morocco, on arrival you need to present the original vehicle registration documents, insurance certificate and your passport to the customs officer, and complete the vehicle admission form. Photocopies and faxes are not acceptable.

Customs duty (Droits d'importation) This is the main tax you'll pay when the car enters Morocco. It's usually around 17.5% of the car's value. If you're a Moroccan residing abroad (MRE) and over 60, you can get a major reduction on this tax.
